Individual pay dependent on location, experience and job related factors.Location: 2435 Research Pkwy , Colorado Springs, CO 80920Shift: Full-Time, 30-40 hours per week (Flexible schedule hours)Setting: Outpatient Ortho / Hand TherapyPro Active Physical Therapy offers outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services. We believe in welcoming experts who share our vision, who work diligently, and ones committed to providing the level of care that will help improve the lives of our patients.We currently have an opening for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in our Colorado Springsclinic. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where your unique perspective is not only valued but essential.Position Summary: Provide rehabilitation Therapy to patients in an out-patient setting Follow individualized care plans for each treatment Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care Grow relationships with your staff and the community you support Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection Comply with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulationsQualifications: Graduation from an approved school for Occupational Therapist Assistants Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license/certification (COTA) in good standing with the State.Physical Requirements: Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists. Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds). Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions. Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment. Visual and Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
