Family Practice OR Internal Medicine Physician Colorado Springs CO
2-day work week (Mon and Tuesdays)
We are looking for a Family Practice Physician or Internal Medicine Physician to join our medical practice part time in Colorado Springs CO. We are looking for a BC physician to join our dedicated healthcare team in providing high quality care in our office that focuses on knee/joint dysfunction and pain. The job duties require performing focused orthopedic/musculoskeletal evaluations of patients, ordering, and reviewing of diagnostic testing, and joint injections (Knee). This position offers an excellent work life balance with no call, no nights or weekends, 2-day work week (Mon and Tuesdays) within a great work environment and great support staff! The incoming physician preferably has experience with knee injections/viscosupplementation (preferably fluoroscopy guided) and we will provide training. We are flexible in our need and will consider a range of specialties for the position to include Orthopedists, Pain management physicians, ER, PM&R/Physiatrists, and Occupational medicine physicians.

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluation (ortho/MSK focused -medical history, HPI, review pertinent records/imaging/reports)
• Order and review diagnostic imaging as needed
• Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
• Follow the protocol to learn safety, efficiency, and care plans
• Patient education as to diagnosis and care plan
• Referral to therapy and other resources as deemed medically necessary
• Treatment- Knee injections/Viscosupplementation
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Collaboration with the other healthcare providers for comprehensive care
  Qualifications:
  • BCBE Family Practice Physician or Internal Medicine Physician but would also consider Orthopedists/Pain Management physicians.
  • Licensed MD/DO in Colorado
  • Experience with knee injections preferred Schedule:
    • Part time (Monday and Tuesdays) 12-16 hrs per week Compensation:
      • $120/hr plus potential bonus compensation Benefits:
