Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Manager or Manager Loss
Reserve.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain controls over $5.5 billion of Loss and LAE reserves and
complete reserve reviews
Develop direct reports and direct the training of actuarial
analysts
Lead initiatives to improve or develop models, processes, and
methodology while managing a team of analysts
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of actuarial experience, or a Bachelor's
degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of actuarial
experience
Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation is preferred
Experience leading and mentoring a team of actuarial analysts
Intermediate to advanced coding skills in SQL, Power Query, R, or
Python
Experience with loss reserving concepts and utilizing relevant
resources/tools
