Volt has immediate openings for a Quality Assurance Technician for
a growing, dynamic semiconductor manufacturer located in Colorado
Springs. This amazing organization offers a team environment,

As a QA Technician you will:
Physically inspect all incoming product and verify meets order
requirements and specifications. Perform analytical tests and take
samples as required for various products.
Repackage and label product as needed and release into production
or inventory control
Identify and control nonconforming product and complete related
documentation.
Communicate activities daily to include work performed, problems
encountered and resolution.
Assist in performance of audits of production, quality,
equipment/tooling, and systems to assure compliance with documented
procedures and customer specifications.
Ensures that documents, records and samples are cataloged, archived
and stored, readily accessible and in a suitable environment which
minimizes the chance of damage, deterioration or loss, including
maintaining a Records Archive.
Maintain calibration equipment.
Identify gaps or deficiencies in quality management system and
provide solution-based suggestions utilizing data to facilitate
improvements. Capable of supporting implementation of process
monitoring, sampling and process auditing.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality
role.
HS Diploma or GED.
Detailed oriented and well organized. Capable of performing and
prioritizing quality operations in more than one quality functional
area: Incoming, In-line monitors/audits, final inspections
Must be proficient in MS office applications. Knowledgeable in ERP
systems (ie SAP), as well as quality monitoring and control
systems.
Experience working with microscopes, automated vision systems,
calipers, gage blocks, mechanical tests etc.
Must be able to work compressed 12-hour work shifts
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr DOE
Shift: Days: (7am-7pm) Mon-Wed/Mon-Thu (Rotating 12-hour shift- 3
days on/4 days off or 4 days off/3days on)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
