Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Pre-Certification Coordinator to
oversee medical authorization processes and manage the
pre-certification team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily activities of the pre-certification team and prioritize
assignments
Act as a liaison between department facilities and physician
offices, addressing billing inquiries and insurance questions
Provide training and support to staff on complex cases to avoid
denials
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing/coding
Previous pre-certification experience
Some college education or an associate degree preferred
Experience interacting with managed care plans and insurance
companies
