The Press Brake Operator operates press brakes according to blueprint specifications. Assures timelines are met with the highest attention to detail and all safety guidelines are upheld.
Role and Responsibilities

•

• Prepares setup, preventative maintenance, cleaning and operation of assigned press brakes
  
• Ensures proper punch, die, package, and squareness of product based on blueprint or work order
  
• Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency, and safety
  
• Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment
  
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
  
  Qualifications and Education Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • High school diploma, GED, trade school, or equivalent
    
  • 2 years of previous experience or equivalent demonstrated ability to perform all job functions
    
  • Must demonstrate proficiency reading specification blueprints
    
  • Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred
