Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career
opportunity for a Computer Operations Analyst - Computer Operations
Support Analyst (24-357) to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be located at Schriever Space Force
Base, Colorado Springs, CO. Position Overview: The Command and
Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program
integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational
system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and
combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels
to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see
the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage
designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global
and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile
defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of
all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier
that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing
autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize
performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight
tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile
defense system capabilities. The selected candidate will be part of
a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs
daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC
systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. Essential
Functions: * Provide first-level technical support to the
warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC
hardware, software, and networks. * Document and report all
events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the
CCC for all operations, tests & real-world events. * Assist in all
hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and
create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO. *
Focus on Lab and Test activities.
Basic Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance
and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. * An
active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to
obtain TS/SCI clearance. * 2 years' experience with a bachelor's
degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related
field; 0 years' experience with a master's degree in engineering,
computer science, mathematics or a related field; or 6 years'
experience in lieu of a degree . * DoD 8140 certification at IAT -
Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE,
SCNA) is required. * Excellent experience with operations and
maintenance of large-scale computer and communications
systems/networking environments. * System and/or network
administration that includes:
* UNIX * Linux * Windows * Cisco * Juniper
* Troubleshooting hardware and software components. * Rotating 24 x
7 shift work is required. Mission requirements will determine
assignments to a shift and assignments (Ops or Training). Some
substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and
weekends, will be required.
Preferred Qualifications: * Current and active TS/SCI is highly
desired. * Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile
Defense Systems is a plus.

Information:
Salary Range: $70,100 - $108,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
