An exciting opportunity is available in Southern Colorado for an experienced Homecare Occupational Therapist! The OT will join the tight-knit Rehabilitation Services team at this award-winning medical center. About the healthcare system: Located in picturesque Southern Colorado, this 300+ bed short-term acute care hospital and Trauma Center offers advanced medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, 24/7 Emergency Services, Critical Care and Cardiology, Oncology and Radiation, Behavioral Health, and Women s and Children s Services. This nonprofit medical organization has achieved accreditation by the Joint Commission, in addition to multiple awards honoring excellence in patient care. About the job: The Staff Homecare Occupational Therapist will have the wonderful opportunity to work among an energetic and highly qualified team of therapists in this fast-paced rehabilitation department. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative services to patients with a variety of physical, emotional, and/or developmental impairments, working with the patient to develop the best plan of care to meet each individual s needs. The OT will continually assess and evaluate the plan of care, monitoring for effectiveness and patient safety. This facility is prepared to move quickly for the seasoned Homecare Occupational Therapist who is ready to demonstrate their strong OT knowledge and critical thinking skills. A Bachelor s Degree is required for this role, and a Master s Degree is highly preferred.
