Programs Security provides quality leadership, services and
solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and
protect company information and assets as well as enhance
operational efficiency for the Corporation. You will serve as the
Special Security Director responsible for ensuring successful
security programs are in place by implementing programs for
protecting classified and unclassified sensitive information. This
position is responsible for supporting Department of Defense (DoD)
agencies and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities.
This position supports both Aerospace and Government customers
within a classified environment.What You'll Be Doing
- Direct all aspects of Defense Security Counterintelligence
Agency and Security Agency (DCSA), Sensitive Compartmented
Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Manage security team members
- Review, forecast, and monitor department budgets
- Oversee ICD-705 construction
- Manage 24X7 contractor guard force
- Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program
(NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)
- Expert knowledge with DoD 5205 series SAP Manuals to include
JSIG
- Direct all aspects of security related investigations,
training, operations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
with all federal, state, and local security operations, policies,
and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk
management principles
- Oversee and maintain COMSEC program
- Write and approve Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with
customers located on the Colorado Springs campus
- Write Co-Use and Joint Use Agreements with government
customers
- Work with support departments to ensure compliance with
contract/subcontract security requirements
- Responsible for local Insider Threat Program, and
pre-publication reviews
- Oversee the adherence of classified storage, annual classified
inventory, classified media control, and the visitor control
program within the secure areas
- Responsible for self-inspections oversight and compliance.
- Responsible for the reporting of adverse information to the
appropriate CSAs
- Assist with the implementation, and maintenance of Fire Life
Safety, emergency preparedness, and EHS programs to ensure
compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation
- Respond to emergencies that require either an evacuation,
shelter-in-building (SIB) order, or lock downWhat You Need to be
Successful - Special Security DirectorMinimum Requirements:
- 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma
or 5 or more years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree
from an accredited college
- Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP
accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security
clearance
- Must be willing and able to provide an after-hours response to
alarm situations if necessary
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with security and safety programs
- Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals,
Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG),
NISPOM, and ICD series manualsHow You Can Stand OutIt would be
