Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director for the New York
Region.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medical policy implementation and clinical program
development
Manage utilization review, quality assurance, and predetermination
reviews
Act as a clinical liaison to network providers and support medical
services programs
Required Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in the Health Care Delivery
System
Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized
specialty
Post-graduate direct patient care experience
Preferred: Previous UM experience with a Health Plan/Payor
