Description:The Assistant Banking Office Manager will play a
crucial role in supporting the Banking Office Manager in overseeing
daily operations and ensuring efficient functioning of the branch.
This position involves managing administrative tasks such as
approving time off requests and managing time cards, as well as
providing excellent customer service and support to branch
staff.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage and supervise department employees
- Review and approve time off requests submitted by branch
staff
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet customer
service needs
- Oversee the accuracy and completeness of time cards for branch
employees
- Collaborate with the Banking Office Manager to address
performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing
customer concerns promptly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal
policies
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline
processes within the branch
- Market branch within the community to attract business
- Other duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School
Diploma; College Degree Preferred Work Experience: 2-4 years of
retail experienceSupervisory Experience: supervisory experience
preferred Licenses/Accreditations: N/AComputer Skills: Proficient
with Microsoft Office SuiteOther Requirements: Knowledge of bank
products and services. Excellent communication skills. Ability to
handle pressure and meet deadlines. Detail oriented. Ability to
work in and facilitate a team environment. Good organization and
time management skills. Able to be flexible and adaptable to
changing environment. Ability to operate standard office equipment
(10-key, PC, typewriter). Preferred Skills/Experience: Strong
attention to detail and accuracy; professional and courteous
communication skills. Strong verbal, written, and customer service
skills. Critical thinking and problem solving. Ability to
effectively communicate between key internal business
partners.Customer Service: Strong emphasis on excellent customer
service skills; ability to work effectively with both internal and
external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer
and bank information.Financial: Familiarity with financial terms
and practices; mathematical calculations.Administrative Duties:
Planning and scheduling meetings, time card and employee time off
planning, organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic
filesAutonomy: Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to
others.
